Spotlight: Kathy Roberts

Our aquaponics system is up and running at PBGHS!!! We were VERY successful in getting many donations, which made the system very affordable. The students are excited about the system and have been actively involved in preparing the system for plants and finally the fish. Our Future Business Leaders of America Club is also involved and is working with Project Feed 1010 to find an international partner to collaborate on a grant that involves sustainability and aquaponics. I am the type of teacher who constantly seeks new ideas and activities that will engage kids in the science classroom. I have kids in my classroom ALL the time now working on this system!!!
