Project Feed 1010 project manager Jessica Day first met 8th grade biology teacher Tom McFadden, of The Nueva School in Hillsborough, California, at the 2017 National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conference in Los Angeles! He and his incredible colleagues have worked tirelessly to incorporate food security and sustainability into their curriculum, and their amazing story is highlighted in the following article. Project Feed 1010 is excited to collaborate with Tom and his team this summer (2017) as we continue to develop, optimize, and field-test our standards-based, open-source curriculum!
